"He causeth the grass to grow for food, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth a man's heart." ~Psalm 104: 14-15

"Beautiful Hair" Treatment: Tutorial

 Healthy Hair Maintenance: BHS post

Bulk Herb Store has an herbal treatment to help your hair be it's healthy best.  This is the hair treatment I talk about in the "beauty treatment and lunchon" post. :]

Take a look at Bulk Herb Store Blog to see my post and new tutorial.  :-)

The herbal hair treatment is not a hair dye; it's an herbal hair healer. This treatment brings out highlights, fills damage, gives a nice shine and nourishes!
The herbal properties of this treatment penetrate only the broken parts of the hair shafts, leaving damaged hair looking healthy and full. The clear silicon creates a brilliant shine and nettle nourishes your scalp. This treatment brings out lovely highlights but does not cover gray hair. The Dark and Red mixtures contain nettle, oatstraw, henna, and horsetail/shavegrass. Strawberry Blonde contains henna, chamomile, nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail/shavegrass. Blonde contains chamomile, nettle, oatstraw, and horsetail/shavegrass.  -Bulk Herb Store

"Beauty treatment" and luncheon!

My sister and I had a fun day yesterday. We did a hair treatment from Bulk Herb Store while we enjoyed tea and this chicken dish. It was delish!  This month at Bulk Herb Store Blog, they're talking about Herbs for body and food.  At our house, we did both!  The herbs for hair came in a neat package from BHS, and the herbs for food were in the kitchen already. :D

Herbs & Potato Chicken Luncheon

Due to many food alergies (I'm buying the Gut and Phycology Book from BHS for their summer reading chalange!), there were limitations on food options. This is recipe is dairy, gluten, and egg free; and turned out very moist and with a great flavor!

Recipe

-chicken
-potatoes
-bell peppers
-dill
-ginger
-cardamom
-sea salt
-olive oil

Portion sizing is entirely up to you!

First, clean and chop chicken.

Second, rinse and peal potato.

Third, add olive oil to pan while you rinse and slice bell pepper.

4) Thinly slice potato and toss in now hot skillet with some of the salt.

5) Add "too much" ginger. When potato is nicely browned, flip. 6) add bell pepper and cardamom.
Stir it up.

7) more salt. Move veggies to the side and place the chicken in a thin layer right on the pan.

8) after chicken is cooked almost through, turn over and wait a couple minutes.

9) Mix it all together and place a lid or another pan right into the pan, to keep the moisture in. Can add more oil. Now's a good time to set the table, or just grab a plate...  10) dish up and enjoy!

Now, you want to know how the hair treatment went, right? Well, come back on see the healthy hair post on the 26th to find out! :D
