"Candle Dipping Lady"
Shortly after I began my potpourri brainstorming, I started working for a small business run by a friendly local family. The job is messy, busy, and so fun! I get to "play" farm, old fashioned living and crafter! First it was candle dipping - I became the official Candle Dipping Lady - and later included shopkeeping, beading, taking care of the animals, with a hint of potpourris... I love it!
Especially because of my candle dipping job, this kept churning through my mind; how could I write a post about DIY gift jars with homemade herbal potpourris - and include store boughten candles? That got me started on an adventure (of learning, trying out more candle-making methods, writing...) which has yet to be completed. For now, I have for you a list of candle making links. (Soon I'll follow up with DIY winter potpourri, a winter potpourri round-up, and my own candle making experience and tips!)
