"He causeth the grass to grow for food, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth a man's heart." ~Psalm 104: 14-15

Herbs & Potato Chicken Luncheon & "Beauty treatment" for hair!

Herbs & Potato Chicken Luncheon

Due to many food alergies (I'm buying the Gut and Phycology Book from BHS for their summer reading chalange!), there were limitations on food options. This is recipe is dairy, gluten, and egg free; and turned out very moist and with a great flavor!

-bell peppers
-sea salt
-olive oil

Portion sizing is entirely up to you!

First, clean and chop chicken.

Second, rinse and peal potato.

Third, add olive oil to pan while you rinse and slice bell pepper.

4) Thinly slice potato and toss in now hot skillet with some of the salt.

5) Add "too much" ginger. When potato is nicely browned, flip. 6) add bell pepper and cardamom.
Stir it up.

7) more salt. Move veggies to the side and place the chicken in a thin layer right on the pan.

8) after chicken is cooked almost through, turn over and wait a couple minutes.

9) Mix it all together and place a lid or another pan right into the pan, to keep the moisture in. Can add more oil. Now's a good time to set the table, or just grab a plate...  10) dish up and enjoy!

My sister and I had a fun day yesterday. We did a hair treatment from Bulk Herb Store while we enjoyed tea and this chicken dish. It was delish!  This month at Bulk Herb Store Blog, they're talking about Herbs for body and food.  At our house, we did both!  The herbs for hair came in a neat package from BHS, and the herbs for food were in the kitchen already. :D

2019 EDIT: BHS is not currently/no longer carrying this herbal mix.
